Winter NAMM Show 2011 Mick & Trev Wilkinson
Join forces again to celebrate the long-awaited Fret-King Super-matic guitar. The Fret-King® Super-matic™ self-tuning guitar, is the first ever guitar to feature the
truly outstanding and innovative Wilkinson ATD HT440™ self-tuning hard tail guitar bridge. Mick will be using his Super-matic
for his next CD and concert tour. Stay Tuned!
"Thanks Fret-King!
My Eclat (Eclair) is the most expressive classic set-neck single cut I've ever played. Clearly head and shoulders above all
the others in its class. The 'Vari-coil™' allows me to blend the pickups in any percentage I want. Super cool forearm
chamfer cuts down on right hand fatigue. And it's absolutely gorgeous!"

Here's Mick's
Beetronics Overhive Custom which he says sounds like an old cranked Marshall...
The strings of choice are DR Dragon Skins electric
9-42, DR Zebra acoustic-electric 10-47. "I was at the Musik Messe in Frankfurt
Germany 2002 and was talking with the guys at DR Strings. They gave me some strings to try. So, I put a set on one
of my guitars just to see how long they would last. In October of that same year I had the guitar re-fretted and
that was almost 10 months later and the DR strings I put on were still alive and well. The true test!"

Below are front and
back photos of Mick's Vintage Icon series version of the famous guitar
"The Fool" once owned by Eric Clapton and went through Todd
Rundgren, Jackie Lomax, and others. In 2000 it was auctioned at Sotheby's to an anonymous buyer for $150,000.
The buyer sold it several years later for an estimated $500,000. Now, we don't know who owns it.
